A mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Jerry J. McFarlain, Sr., 71, of Jennings on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Susil Fernando officiating. Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mr. McFarlain will begin on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Cursillo Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. and continue until 1:00 p.m.

Mr. McFarlain was a lifelong resident of Jennings and was an automobile mechanic. He was the owner of Jerry’s Sales and Service (muffler and alignment shop).

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Dana (Tommy) Vincent; his son, Jerry (Kim) J. McFarlain, Jr. of Evangeline; two sisters, Kathy Bouley of Lafayette and Pearl Hammond of Illinois; two brothers, Francis McFarlain of Lake Charles and Joe McFarlain of Lafayette; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vennis and Rosa Royer McFarlain and his beloved wife, Diana Crochet McFarlain.
