Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Bullock, 76, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings with Rev. Michael Keith LaBove officiating.

Visitation for Mr. Bullock will be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 16 in Jennings and resume Saturday, September 17 from 8:00 a.m. until service time.

Burial with Full Military Honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Iota under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Bullock died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 in Jennings.

Jerry was a lifelong resident of Evangeline. He graduated from Iota High School and later served in the United States Army. Jerry enjoyed the many friendships created during his career in the oilfield.

Mr. Bullock loved the outdoors and all it had to offer. He loved the mountains of Colorado and he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching his beloved Saints football. His pride and joy were his “boys” and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Victoria Fruge Bullock of Evangeline; his sons: Al (Georgette) Bullock of Evangeline; Shane and Ryan Bullock, both of Evangeline: and two sisters, Sandy Miller and Coy Armentor, of Evangeline; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Bullock is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Magnus Simar Bullock.
