It is with sad hearts that the family of Jennifer (Jenny) Broussard announce her passing into the arms of Jesus on June 22, 2023. The family is honoring her wishes of cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Jenny was strong, independent, kind, and loving. She was the first to offer a hand of assistance and the last to ask for anything. She loved her family with everything in her and she loved Jesus even more. She was a prayer warrior and served as such at Our Saviors Church in Jennings until her health prevented her from attending, but she never stopped praying for everyone. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, AC and Lorida LaFosse, sister, Gwen LaFosse Oliver, grandparents, Felix and Pauline Istre and Corea and Olive LaFosse. 

She is survived by her daughters Connie Ledoux, Shandell (Marlowe) Mansion, her grandchildren, Mikie (Leeanna) Ledoux, Gwen Milliman, and Dylan Milliman, her great grandson, Peyton Ledoux, brother Ricky LaFosse (Carmen), sister Denice Sonnier (Tony), and nieces, nephews and godchildren all of whom she loved dearly. 

The family wants to say a special thanks to Lamb Hospice, Gueydan Memorial Guest Home and to this families angel, Angie Blanchard.
