Jeanne Marie Bryant

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mrs. James S. (Jeanne) Bryant, 82, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis House officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation on Monday, August 16, 2010 will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Bryant died Sunday August 15, 2010 at 9:32 a.m. at her residence. Mrs. Bryant was a native of St. Martinville, was a homemaker and lived in Lake Arthur for the past 57 years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was an avid Saints fan and was overjoyed that she got to see them win the Super Bowl. She is survived by her husband, J. S. Bryant, Jr. of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Cynthia Hebert and her husband Randy of Baker, La., Christie Coats and her husband Mike of Cameron, La.; a son, Richard J. Bryant and wife Karen of Lake Charles, La. and a brother, James Guidry of St. Martinville, La.; seven grandchildren, Brad Bryant, Jamie Bryant, Amanda Trahan and husband Donald Ray, Jared Hebert, Derek Hebert, Holly Simmons and husband Jason and Bonny Jordan and husband Dwayne and seven great grandchildren, Raven Styron, Kourtlyn Duhon, Hayley Trahan, Ashley Trahan, Trevor Bryant, Holdyn Jordan and Taigan Shepherd. Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Antonia Borel Guidry, three sisters; Anna G. Bienvenu, Olive G. Bienvenu and Ida Reese and a brother, Percy Guidry. The family would like to give a special thanks to caregivers, Anna Belle LaPoint and Annette Thibodeaux, to Sarah, Jessie and Alice with Heart of Hospice, Jeff Davis Home Health and Dr. Romero.
