Mrs. Jean Ethel Rosette Bias left her earthly course on Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was born in Jennings on January 16, 1938 to her parents, Joseph and Ezola Brown Rosette. After leaving high school she married the love of her life, Jesse Bias who served in the Air Force honorably. This allowed them to travel as she followed him on his deployments.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and like most homemakers was known for her expertise in a particular area—Jean’s was making hot tamales. But more than that, Jean was known for the kind, generous and caring person that she was. She lived her life according to the Bible as best she knew how.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Cynthia Bias of Jennings; two sons, Noel Bias of Egan and Cedrick Bias of Florida; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bias was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Bias; her parents, Joseph and Ezola Brown Rosette; daughter, Jessica Bias Foreman; son, Frederick Earl Bias; sister, Jo Ellen Collins; and two brothers, Paul and Edward Rosette.
