Janie Authement

Funeral services for Mrs. Janie M. Authement, 58, of Morse will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susil Fernando  officiating.

Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Authement will begin Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. and will continue until time of service.

Mrs. Authement was a homemaker. She was known as the peacemaker in her family and her children will remember her as a very loving mother and grandmother. She was a good friend and touched the lives of many people in her special way. Mrs. Authement was strong in her Christian faith.

Mrs. Authement was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer Deshotel and Mazie Morvant and a daughter, Shawnda Greene.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Bourne of Morse; daughters, Samantha LaVergne of Morse; Sandie Tupper of Jennings; Candie Authement of Crowley; Tiffany Sloan of Duson; one son, Timothy Authement, Jr. of Morse; sister, Rita Sonnier of Eunice; two brothers, Carlton and Wilson Deshotel of Jennings; twenty-six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
