Funeral services for Mrs. Janette Sue Sykes Monceaux, 73 of Jennings will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Lake Arthur Miguez Chapel.  Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Monceaux will begin on Tuesday afternoon, March 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m.  It will resume on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Monceaux enjoyed shopping, especially a good deal at a garage sale, and spending time with her beloved family. She worked as a waitress and was known for her pleasant smile and friendly service.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Monceaux, Sr.; two daughters, Ramona (Brian) Matthews of Jennings and Michelle (Curtis) Bertrand of Ragley; a son, Charles Monceaux, Jr. of Ragley; a sister, Sharon (Paul) Lanoue of New Orleans; a brother, Robin (Linda) Mathis of New Orleans; twelve grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Millard Mathis.
