Lake Arthur Private graveside services for Mrs. Clyde (Eva Jane Leger) Guidry, 73 were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday Nov. 14, 2011 in the Andrus Cove Cemetery with Mr. Arthur Leger officiating. Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Guidry was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and a graduate of Lake Arthur High School. She was faithful in practicing her Christianity and spreading the word of the Lord to others. She enjoyed baking for her family and friends especially teaching her grandchildren how to bake. Survivors include her husband, Clyde Guidry of Lake Arthur; two daughters, Mary Ann (David) Broussard-Thomas of Humble, TX, and Kristi Lisenby and husband Steve Odstrcil of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Mable Martin (Adonis) of Lake Charles, LA and Susan Smith of Lake Arthur; three brothers, Elmer John Leger (Gloria) , Arthur Lee (Dorothy) Leger both of Lake Arthur and Warren Dale Leger of Jennings. 6 grandchildren, Tyson(Celinda) Broussard, Brady (Deena) Broussard, Paige Guidry, Denton Lisenby, Jessica Odstrcil and Jillianne Odstrcil and 6 great grandchildren, Brason, Braxton, Aubrey, Alyssa, and Carson Broussard, Kayna LeJeune. Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her parents, Olidie and Eda Marie McLean Leger.
