James "Pops" Edward Lewis

Graveside services for Mr. James Edward Lewis, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Andrus Cove Cemetery with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Mr. Lewis died at 2:41 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 in the Jeff Davis Living Center.

Mr. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Andrus Cove and retired as an automotive parts salesman. He loved talking about God, airplanes, movies and playing on facebook.

Survivors include his mother, Rita LeGros Lewis of Andrus Cove; one sister, Bernadette Murphy of Andrus Cove; one brother, John Lewis of Andrus Cove; niece, Mitzie Vincent; nephews, Ricky Murphy, Curran Lewis, and Tim Lewis; great nephews, Dade, Ethan, Kellen, Abrum and Brady Lewis.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Earl Lewis.

Pallbearers will be John Lewis, Curran Lewis, Tim Lewis, Ricky Murphy, Travis Vincent, Warren John Price, Mike Legros, and Randy Cormier.

The family would like to thank Dr. John and Stormy Segura and the nurses and staff of the Jeff Davis Living Center for the great compassion and care they provided.
