JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. James “Mac” McLean, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 23, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Rev. Gary Koopman officiating.
Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday; and 8:00 a.m. Monday until time of services.
Burial with Military Graveside Honors will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery.
Mr. McLean died at 2:01 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.
Mr. McLean was a lifelong resident of Jennings and served in the U.S. Army during the VietNam Conflict. He was a retired drilling superintendent in the oil and gas industry. He also worked for LA Tank of Lake Charles. He was a member of the Jennings Country Club.
Survivors include nieces, Margie Barrilleaux of Andrus Cove, Verlie Richard of Branch; nephews, Willis Touchet of Jennings, Wayne Toups of Lafayette, Don Lewis Touchet of Andrus Cove, Ricky Stone of Port Neches, TX; good neighbors, Mike and Jeanette Briggs of Jennings and his companion Dot Foreman of Lafayette, LA
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Eva Martin McLean; his wife, Lieselotte Wandelt McLean; two sisters, Vivian Broussard, Azema Thibodeaux; two brothers, Ernest and Euclide McLean and a nephew, Roger Toups.
