Moss Bluff A Memorial Service for Mr. James Lee Shelton, 82 will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Gateway Church of God in Moss Bluff, LA with Pastor Richard Watson officiating. Mr. Shelton died at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 in Christus St. Patrick Hospital of Lake Charles, LA. He was a native of Pasadena, TX and a twenty year resident of Moss Bluff. Mr. Shelton was a member of Kelview Heights Baptist Church of Midland, TX. He enjoyed doing carpenter work, yard work and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandfather. Everyone enjoyed his great sense of humor. Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife of 63 years: Shirley Stidham Shelton of Moss Bluff, three sons: David (Cheryl) Shelton of Dallas, TX, Joel (Kim) Shelton of Moss Bluff, LA and Pat (Donna) Shelton of Baton Rouge, LA and a sister; Maxine Fleming of Seabrook, TX, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
