James Virgil Hebert

James Virgil Hebert, 75, of Evangeline, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. 

James was born October 26, 1949, in Crowley, LA, to Hubert Hebert and Lena Crochet Hebert. He lived his life to the fullest and worked as a carpenter most of his life. You can often find him hunting, which he enjoyed often, especially squirrel hunting in his own back yard. James was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many. Family was important to him, and he cherished every minute spent with them. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Daigle Hebert; daughter, Shonna Hebert; son, Scott (Tish) Hebert; sisters, Karen Pesina and Faye Gary; brothers, Garland (Polly) Hebert, Wayne (Sharon) Hebert and Gary (Julie) Hebert; grandchildren, Shae Derouen, Camryn Hebert, Kristin McGregor, Kylie Hebert, and Blaine McGregor; and a great grandson, Gabriel James, on the way. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Leeroy Gary.

The family has chosen to honor his wishes of cremation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
