JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Jacquelyn Reaud Theunissen, 79, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Friday; and 8:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A rosary led by Mrs. Betty LeGros will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Friday in the funeral home. Mrs. Theunissen died at 2:23 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 in the Dubuis Hospital of Lake Charles. Mrs. Theunissen was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of the Jennings High School class of 1950. She was employed by Jeff Davis Insurance Agency until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include three daughters, Trudy Reeves of Jennings, Cheryl Dennis of Hathaway, Kathy Broussard of Jennings; one son, Peter Theunissen and wife Karen of Lacassine; one sister, Patricia Theunissen of Jennings; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Theunissen is preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Theunissen, Jr.; one son, Richard Theunissen; parents, Jules and Ruby Marshall Reaud and one brother, Richard Reaud.
