Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline Gail Richard, 60, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in the Johnson Hanks Cemetery in Morse.

Mrs. Richard died at 2:25 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in her residence.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. Friday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.

Mrs. Richard was a native of Lake Charles, resident of Morse 18 years moving there from Welsh.  She was a restaurant supervisor.  She loved crabbing, dancing, eating crawfish and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Shawnta (Kyle) Castete of Morse; her son Robert Guillory of Morse; three sisters, Nelvia (Byron) Riggs, Lula (Lawrence, Sr.) Mallett and Vellia Newman all of Welsh; two grandchildren, Ashton and Kole Castete.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Russell and Rena Marie Trahan Richard.

Pallbearers will be Ashton Castete, Kole Castete, Patrick Peloquin, Bridget Ramirez, Jerome Mallett, Lawrence (Squeek) Mallett and Ethan Looney.
