Inez Viola Cormier

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Euman (Inez Taylor) Cormier, 62, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2008 in the First Baptist Church with Revs. Jerry Masters and Keith Zachary officiating. Burial will be in China Cemetery under direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., today, Friday; and 8:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday. Mrs. Cormier died at 12:17 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2008 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Jennings. She was a graduate of the Jennings High School, class of 1964. Mrs. Cormier graduated from LSUE with a degree in radiology. She worked at Womens and Childrens Hospital for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. She was a church choir member and was actively involved in the BYAHs. Mrs. Cormiers has requested that all ladies attending her service to wear a hat. SURVIVORS: Husband: Euman Cormier, Jr.-Jennings (2) Daughters: Adriene Fontenot and husband Rusty-Ardmore, OK Ashley Hough-Mountain Home, Idaho (1) Brother: Merrion “Steve” Taylor – Jennings, La. (4) Grandchildren: Kalin, Kai, Tanner, and Mya Preceded in death by her parents, Fonzo and Thelma Smith Taylor; one sister, Louise Savoy; and one brother, George Taylor.
