Huey Paul Foreman

JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Huey Paul Foreman, 79, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 in the First Church of Christ with Jack Harris and Roland Berry officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2012. Visitation on Saturday will from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Mr. Foreman died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at 4:15 a.m. in a local hospital. Mr. Foreman worked for the 7Up Bottling Company and Jennings Norwood Irrigation Company. He then went to work at the Zigler Shipyards for 20 years. He then changed careers and went to work for the Jefferson Davis Parish School Board where he drove a school bus for 20+ years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising farm animals, woodworking and participating in tractor pulls. He graciously gave of his time to cook for the church camps in Lake Arthur and Clearwater, LA. Mr. Foreman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Opal Wiggins Foreman, two daughters, Ginger Mae Foreman Brown of Hathaway and Sarah Louise Foreman Esthay of Roanoke, LA; 2 sons, Cameron Paul Foreman of Lafayette, LA and Errol James Foreman of Welsh, LA; one sister, Velma Saintes of Livingston, TX; seven grandchildren, Christopher Steven Brown, Kaitlyn Denae Foreman, Erica Gail Foreman, Errol James Foreman, Jr., Tyler Paul Foreman, Logan Paul Esthay, Hannah Elizabeth Esthay; one great grandchild, Makenzie Grace Foreman and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his parents, Cameron Paul and Amay Suire Foreman, and two sisters, Lottie Cormier and Mattie Greer. Pallbearers will be Christopher Brown, Errol Foreman Jr., Tyler Paul Foreman, Tyler Chaisson, Todd Miller, Steven Brown, Charlie Britt and Jason Esthay. Honorary Pallbearer will be Logan Paul Esthay.
