Jennings Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Clarke Buch, Sr., 94 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Jennings United Methodist Church with Rev. Walter Parker officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Mr. Buch died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 12:33 p.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Funeral home visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 3:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service being held at 6:00 p.m. Visitation on Wednesday will be at the Jennings United Methodist Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Buch was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. He was an Army veteran having served our country from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of the Jennings United Methodist Church and Choir, the Jennings Masonic Lodge 249 and the Jennings American Legion Post 19. Mr. Buch was the proprietor of Buch Printing for 77 years. He enjoyed playing dominoes and going to the mens upper room bible class. He is survived by three sons; Clarke Buch of Jennings, Graylon (Patricia) Buch of Jennings, Tommy Buch of Jennings and a sister; Lula Reed of Jennings, five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Frederick and Lulu Mae Quigley Buch, his wife, Charlotte Maurine Gray Buch, four sisters, Ruby Peerson, Ellen Byrum, Gladys Cannon, Beatrice Pollett and a brother, Howard Buch. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to James Wilson for being such a faithful friend, the entire staff of the Jennings American Legion Hospital and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Jennings.
