Hellen Ruth Crochet

The family of Hellen Ruth Crochet, 81, of Jennings, LA, announces her passing on May 14, 2023. Visitation will be held on Friday May 19, 2023, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Cremation is to follow the visitation under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. 

Ms. Hellen was born on September 26, 1941, in Jennings, LA to her parents, Clifford Crochet and Lorena LeJeune. She was a life-long resident of Jennings and worked as a Certified Nurses Aid for many years. She was a loving and caring person who loved her family deeply. 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Clifford Soileau of Beaumont, Tx. and Nelson Soileau, Jr of Sulphur; brother, Clifford Crochet, Jr. of Jennings; grandchildren, Rickey, Vickey, Samuel, Camilo, Jordan Danielle, and Matthew Joseph; and great-grandchildren Letty Rose and Hazel Grace. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Paul and Lorena Marie LeJeune Crochet and her sisters, Emmerline Broussard, Elodie Papillon and Ellen Crochet.
