Harvey "Butch" Daigle

Funeral services for Mr. Harvey “Butch” Daigle, 73, of Gotte’s Cove, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 with Rev. Brian Wells and Dr. Jeff Cook officiating.

Burial will follow in Grace Community Cemetery in Gotte’s Cove under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 and from 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.

Mr. Daigle passed from this life to the next at 1:10 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2020 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Daigle was a member of First Baptist Church of Jennings and the Gideons. He was a supervisor in the Oil Industry.  Mr. Daigle proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Katie Ramour Daigle; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Maura and Blane Guillory of Jennings, Margo and August Lege’ Jr of Iota, and Emma and John Hebert of Iota; 1 son, Andrew West of Evangeline and 7 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Blane Guillory, John Hebert, August Lege’, Jr., Evan Guillory, Daniel Guillory and Ian Hebert.

Mr. Daigle is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Gurtis Gotte Daigle and sister, Erna “Minnie” Miller.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideons.
