Jennings A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Harry Jr. LaFleur, 73 at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in, June 30, 2012 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial with military honors will in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home. Mr. LaFleur died Wednesday June 27, 2012 at 6:40 a.m. in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation on Saturday will be held from 8 a.m. until the time of service. He was a native of Lafayette, graduated from Eunice High School and resident of Jennings for the past 48 years. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mr. LaFleur served his country in the United States Marine Corp. and retired from PPG as a pipefitter. He enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 48 years; Merella Camel LaFleur, two sons; Anthony Tony LaFleur and wife Kim of Rayne and Chad Marshall LaFleur of Lafayette, a sister; ElaineLeJeune and husband Kenneth of Eunice, two brothers; Gerald LaFleur and wife Sandy of Thornton, CO and Percy LaFleur and wife Pam of Houston, Tx. Five grandchildren; Brooke LaFleur, Bailey LaFleur, Brileigh LaFLeur, Bryce LaFleur and Braylon LaFleur and one great grandchild; Coleigh Price. Mr. LaFleur was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Estella Hebert LaFleur, a brother, Dwight LaFleur and a nephew Kevin LaFleur. Pallbearers will be Tony, Chad, Bryce, and Adam LaFleur, and Toby and Eddie Simon. Honorary pallbearer will be Braylon LaFleur.
