The family of Mr. Gregory Allen Medus, 63, of Lake Charles, announces the passing of their beloved brother on Thursday, July 14, 2022, in Lake Charles.

Mr. Medus was born on March 4, 1959, in Jennings to parents, Allen and Louise Elonide Caldwell Medus.  Greg was a member of the United States Marine Corps and served his country honorably.  He received an Associate Degree and worked in the medical field as an X-ray Technician.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two sisters, Kathryn Sullivan of Baton Rouge and Julie Lejeune of Lafayette and three brothers, David Medus of Lake Charles, Carl (Evie) Medus of Duluth, GA and Paul Medus of Lafayette.

Mr. Medus was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved Boston Terriers, Buddy and Dottie.

The family has entrusted cremation to Miguez Funeral Home.  A memorial service for Mr. Medus will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Miguez Funeral Home with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating.  Memorial Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
