Gloria Cormier

JENNINGS 

Mrs. Gloria LeBlanc Cormier, 72, died at 2:05 p.m., Sunday, June 18, 2017 in her residence in Basile.

According to her wishes Mrs. Cormier’s body was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cormier was a resident of Basile. She loved to sing with her sisters in church, was head of the Bereavement Committee at her church. She also loved doing crafts, reading and working with her flowers.

Survivors include three daughters, Angela (Kenneth) Leger of Basile, Ola (Eddie) Williams of Springfield, TN, Deiadra Clement of Iowa; three sons, Felton Lane (Faithy) Cormier of Jennings, Chad (Angela) Cormier of Crowley, Felton (Mary) Cormier, Jr. of Jennings; three sisters, Deanie Spell of Jennings, Loretta Spell of Crowley; Melinda Clark of Jennings; one brother, Ted LeBlanc of Mermentau, 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Felton Cormier, Sr.; her parents, Anthony and Edmonia Ardoin LeBlanc; two sons, Clarence Cormier and Darren Cormier and one grandson Clint Desormeaux.
