Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Ann Melancon Yanna, 59, of Erath will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath with Rev. Andre Metrejean officiating. Burial will follow in Leblanc Cemetery, Erath, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be observed at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018.

Mrs. Yanna passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. She was born on June 9, 1958 in Crowley, Louisiana to Roy and Lillan Daigle Melancon.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening and flowers and used her talents to help others when she could.

Mrs. Yanna is survived by her husband of 42 years, George William Yanna, Jr.; a daughter, Phylicia Ann Yanna of West Monroe; three sons, Jason (Catrina) Conrad Yanna of Forked Island; Frisco Yanna of Abbeville; and Roy Yanna of Erath; three sisters, Dorothy Abshire of Hico,TX; Helen Liner of Abbeville; Martha (Curtis)Louviere of Baton Rouge and Wilma (Chester)Harrington of Utah; and eight grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Roy and Lillian Daigle Melancon.
