Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Myers, 58, of Gueydan, will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jay Alexius officiating.  Burial will follow in Gueydan Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. Myers will begin on Thursday afternoon, October 15^th at 2:30 p.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.  A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m.  Friday morning, visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. in Jennings until time of service.

Mrs. Myers was a 1980 graduate of Gueydan High School. She was a devoted homemaker for her family and could often be found treating her family and friends to her cooking skills.  She also enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family, her friends and her godchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Glenn “Tony” Myers; daughters, Gabrielle Myers of Baltimore, MD and Jessica Myers of Ruston, LA; brothers, Glenn (Melinda) Roe and Kenneth (Chris) Nolan of Lake Arthur and Anton (Vicki) Nolan of Texas City, TX.

She was preceded in death by her godchild, Sarah Roe; her mother, Wanda Roe; step-father Franklin Nolan; and her sister, Judith Nolan Nix.
