JENNINGS 

Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Doucet Bonin, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2019 in the Miguez Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Sensat Cemetery in Egan.

Funeral home visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Mrs. Bonin passed away at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home.

Mrs. Bonin lived most of her life in Jennings. She loved listening to music, cooking and watching football.  She also loved to read and spend time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Leslie LeJeune of Jennings, Donna (Kurt) Hanks of Carlyss; her sons Randall Bonin of Sulphur, Jerard (Carla) Bonin, Jarod (Felecia) Bonin, Louis (Melissa) Bonin all of Jennings; brothers, Horace (Carol) Doucet of Crowley, Ray (Bonnie) Doucet of Duson; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Josephine Quebodeaux Doucet, Jr.; her husband, Willie Leo Bonin; son-in-law, Harlie LeJeune; sister, Clarice Fuselier; brothers, Tommy Doucet, William, Albert and Constance Dupre.
