Services for Gertie Dell Ramour, 91, of Iota, LA, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 15, 2022, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Louis Charrier and Pastor Eric Sonnier officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday March 14, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. It will resume on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will take place in the Grace Community Cemetery in Iota, La, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Gertie lived in the community all her life. She enjoyed coloring, cooking, and cleaning. She loved being a housewife raising her children and most of all, spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Gayle Swier of Elizabeth, Katie Daigle of Iota, and Tamea LaFleur of Iota; sons, Ray (Gloria) Ramour of Orange, TX, and Marty (Kathy) Ramour of Vidor, TX; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Winfred “Snow” Ramour; her parents, Arsene and Odile Bergeaux Fontenot; and three sons in law, Woodrow Swire, Butch Daigle and Glynn LaFleur.
