Funeral services for Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Caswell, 75, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Buddy Howard officiating.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m.  It will resume on Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will follow in the Sensat cemetery in Egan under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Mr. Jerry passed away at 10:00 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

He was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as a gauger in the oil and gas industry. He loved to fish, play the guitar and sing.  But most importantly he cherished every moment spent with his family and grandkids.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Patsy Chaisson Caswell; one daughter, Tammy Caswell of Lafayette; two sons, Elead (Christina) Caswell of Gotts Cove, Buck Caswell of Jennings; stepson, Chad Comeaux of Beaumont; one sister, Linda Neal of Welsh; two brothers, Bob (Pam) Caswell of Jennings, Lee (Kris) Caswell of Welsh; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Katie Caswell; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Kershaw.

The family would like to thank LAMM Hospice of Crowley for their wonderful care and compassion given to Mr. Jerry.
