Memorial services for Mr. Gerald George Granger, 82, of Jennings, will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings.  A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m.

Memorial visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will conclude at 7:00 p.m.  The family is honoring his wishes of cremation. 

Mr. Gerald was born on September 15, 1940, in Elton, LA to Dewey and Azalie Manuel Granger.  He was a lifelong resident of Jennings.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army.  He enjoyed playing golf, taking care of his yard, and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Evelyn “Nina” Granger; daughter, Angie (Jeff) Hicks of Jennings; son, Garrett G. Granger of Jennings; and one sister, Sheila (John) Chapman of Lake Arthur.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Dewey “Buddy” and Jimmy Granger.
