Gerald Dean Thibodeaux

JENNINGS Memorial services for Mr. Gerald Dean Thibodeaux, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in the Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Funeral home visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday. Mr. Thibodeaux died at 10:40 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Thibodeaux was a lifelong resident of Jennings and served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer, member of the Catholic Church and the American Legion. Survivors include one daughter, Dana Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; Todd Thibodeaux and wife Caroline of Lake Charles, Artie Thibodeaux and wife Mary Beth of Katy, Texas; his siblings; James Thibodeaux of Mermentau, Polly Anne T. Hodges and husband John of Metairie, Gertie Ruth T. Soileau and husband Rudy of Slidell, Jeanne T. DiStefano and husband John of Alexandria, Eleanor Kate T. Bangle and husband Raymond of Mermentau, Robert Thibodeaux and wife Brenda of Mermentau; his companion, Marilyn Dugas of Jennings; his grandchildren, Amber Lyons, Johnna Zapletal and husband Adam, Jude Thibodeaux, Jory Thibodeaux. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Paul and Eleanor Duhon Thibodeaux; and his wife, Theresa Broussard Thibodeaux; and one
