Georgia B Radke

April 14, 1931 — May 19, 2021

On May 19, 2021, Georgia Mae Barbee Radke of Jennings, Louisiana passed away peacefully in the Jennings American Legion Hospital.

Georgia was born April 14, 1931, in Johnson Bayou, LA to Octavia and Adam Barbee of Lake Arthur, LA. A lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and Jennings, she was always a caring, generous, and fun-loving person with a big heart. “Aunt Georgia was the connection that held her family together for many years.”

Georgia leaves to cherish her memory, children Vivian (Beany) McMahon, Donald Keith (Fro) Bonin, Clifford Bonin, and Aaron Radke as well as her sister Rose Henderson of Pennsylvania. Grandchildren:  Sharee Perrin, Monti Duhon, Gustan Bonin, Steven (Chee) Bonin, Dylan Chaisson (Steven Glenn), Carrie and Corey Davis (Beany), Brandon and Byron Bonin (Keith), Lilah Soileau, Jade and, Casey Bonin (Clifford), Chelsey Bonin (Linda), Christopher Leger (Michael); 19 great-grandchildren, numerous relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Eldon Radke, sons Steven Glenn Bonin and Michael Allen Bonin, daughter Linda Gayle Bonin, granddaughters Courtney McMahon and Sandi Lynn Bonin; grandson Anthony (Tony) Bonin, sisters, Laura, Rena, Effie and brothers, Lloyd, and Woodrow Barbee.

Services for Mrs. Radke will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mickey Istre.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs., Radke will begin on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude just before service time at 1:00 p.m.
