Funeral services for Mr. Gaylor Gregory Brown, 75, of Jennings, will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Trey Ange officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2024, in the chapel and will conclude at 2:00 p.m. for the service.

Mr. Brown was born on February 22, 1948, in Jennings, LA, to Eddie Jay Brown and Florence Landry Brown.  He lived in the Jennings area all his life.  He earned a Master of Business degree from McNeese State University.  Mr. Brown worked for as an investigator for the Child Services department for the state of Louisiana and held that job for 30 years.  He also worked for the Jefferson Davis Sheriff Department for 14 years.  Gaylor loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Linda Abshire Brown; daughter, Christy Daigle; son, David Brown; grandchildren Ryan and Alyson Brown and Michael and Tyler Daigle; and a great grandchild, Hudson Michael Daigle.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
