Mr. Gary Peter Dupras, 68, died at 3:00 a.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his residence in Lake Arthur.

He was a resident of Lake Arthur for the past thirteen years, moving there from Manchester, Connecticut. He was a retired automotive mechanic. He loved woodworking and going on road trips.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Victoria Leger Dupras; two daughters, Catherine Dupras of Jennings, Monica LeGros of Andrus Cove; two sons, Jason Dupras of Lake Arthur, Gregory Dugas of Jennings and one brother, Mark Dupras of Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Thelma Cook Dupras; and one brother, Lynn Dupras.

As he wished, Mr. Dupras was cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
