Gabriel Hebert, Jr.

Lake Arthur Funeral services for Mr. Gabriel Hebert, 74 will be held Saturday August 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation on Friday, August 12, 2011 will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday August 13, 2011 will be from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Mr. Hebert died on Thursday August 11, 2011 at 5:25 p.m. at his residence. Mr. Hebert was a native of Gueydan and lifelong resident of Lake Arthur. He was a retired roughneck for CRC Holston. Mr. Hebert was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He loved gardening and cutting grass, hunting and fishing. Mr. Hebert never met a stranger. Survivors include his wife, Virgie Teresa Hebert of Lake Arthur; three sons, Rickie Hebert and wife Rachelle of Lake Charles; Darrell Hebert and wife Laurie of Lake Arthur and Michael Hebert of Lake Arthur and a brother John Hebert and wife Ann of Lake Arthur; nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Edna Mae Hebert, and four children, Brian and Joann Hebert, Cynthia Doucet and Joy Hebert.
