Frank Fontenot

Frank Faniel Fontenot, 82, of Jennings, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1942, in Iota, Louisiana, and lived a full and vibrant life, enjoying every moment with family and friends.

Frank was a proud Navy veteran who dedicated his career to working in the oil and gas industry as a driller. He was known for his hard work, but it was his passions outside of work that truly defined him. Frank loved to hunt and fish, and he could often be found cooking up delicious meals to share with loved ones.

He was survived by his wife, Leona, his children, Trisha Bouillion (Randy), Sherry Fontenot, and Ted Fontenot (Dawn), and his beloved grandchildren, Wayne Reed (Jada), Connie Fusilier (Ryan), Nichole Langley (Branden), Paul Brinkhaus, Jr. (Mary), Kyle Brinkhaus, William Brinkhaus, Kimberly Stutes (Caleb), Ryder Fontenot, great grandchildren, Emeri, Kree, Kannon, Colby, Amelia, Kennedy, Braxten, Braylen, and his sister, Martha Guillory. Frank had a knack for bringing everyone together and made countless memories that will be treasured forever.

A funeral service to celebrate Frank's life will take place on March 7, 2025, at 11:45 AM, in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 8:00 AM until the time of service at 11:45 AM.

Frank will be laid to rest at 12:30 PM on March 7, 2025, at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings.

Frank lived life to the fullest, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His laughter, love, and warmth will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Sanders Fontenot and Celestine Bergeaux Fontenot; siblings, Joyce, Ethel, Sandra, Dellie, Maxine, Dennis, Miles, Dudley; and great grandchild, Leon Stutes.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Reed, Paul Brinkhaus, Jr., Kyle Brinkhaus, William Brinkhaus, Branden Langley, Eddie Mire, Chad Ardoin, Caleb Stutes, and Ryan Fusilier.
