Lake Arthur

The family of Mr. Frank Cheha, 76, of Lake Arthur, announces his passing on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Cheha was born in Seattle, Washington on September 4, 1944 to George and Anita Haight Cheha.  He attended college after graduation and then joined the Navy Reserves. He has lived in the Lake Arthur area since 1978.  Mr. Cheha worked as an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by his son, Evert Cheha of Lake Arthur; two stepchildren, Tammy Aid of Lake Charles and Chad Trahan of Evangeline; his sister, Charlotte Champers of Everette, WA and six grandchildren, Mersadees Childress, Annastasia Shows, Lane Trahan, Colton Trahan, Tanner Trahan and Kylea Trahan.

Mr. Cheha was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Nikolas Shows; and two brothers, Teddy and George Cheha.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Cheha will be cremated under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
