Francis Touchet

JENNINGS Memorial services for Mr. Francis A. Frank Touchet, 59, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 in the Jennings Church of Christ on North Cutting Ave.with J.C. Bailey, Rev. Brian Wells and Pastor Jeffery Ralston officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services. Mr. Touchet died at 7:21 p.m., Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his residence in Jennings. Mr. Touchet was a resident of Jennings 30 plus years. He was a graduate of Jennings High School, Northeastern University and the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU. He was a member of the Jennings Church of Christ and the Rayne Lions Club. He taught Sunday school, loved to cook and enjoyed cooking for First Baptist Church of Jennings. He was an attorney, worked at the Forensic Crime Lab in Lake Charles, and was past District Governor for the Lions Club and was also former owner and chef at the Caf Nezpique. He is survived by his wife, Karen LeDoux Touchet of Jennings; one daughter, Monica Nikki Trahan and husband D.J. of Welsh; two sons, Adam A. Touchet of Lake Charles, Jordon S. Hine of Jennings; one sister, Margie Barrilleaux of Jennings; two brothers, Willis Touchet of Jennings and Don Touchet of Mermentau; and four grandchildren, Jacob H. Touchet, Makayla J. Trahan, Devyn L. Trahan and Jaxson D. Trahan. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Dozia Touchet and Azema Allemand Thibodeaux; and two brothers, Harold Broussard and Eddie Dean Touchet. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rayne Lions Club.
