Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Marcantel Planchard, 90, of Jennings will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in  Garden of Memories in Metaire , La. Services and burial will be under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation for Mrs. Planchard will begin at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. ending at 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. rosary led by Deacon Mike Tramel.

Mrs. Planchard worked in the Communications industry as a manager moving here from New Orleans in 1991.  She enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino and traveling on vacations.  She also loved spending time with her numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Darcourt Planchard; her parents, Madison and Gladys Richard Marcantel; two sisters, Patricia Richard and Lou Anna Binkley; and one brother, Hillary “Pete” Marcantel.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
