Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Louise Kebodeaux Weekly, 77, of Lake Arthur will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Chapel with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. and continue until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. It will resume Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mrs. Weekly was born on August 4, 1940 in Lake Arthur and lived here her entire life. She devoted twenty plus years to her job as an Assistant Clerk of Lake Arthur. She was a co-owner of several businesses in town such as BlueBird, Kibbies and a furniture store. She enjoyed owning Fran’s Treasures & Things re-selling and helping anyone in need

She loved being spoiled by her grandchildren and children’s culinary skills and she spoiled them in return. Frances was loved by numerous friends and she loved them devotedly.

She is survived by her daughter, Debi Weekly Smith of Lake Arthur and Houston, TX; her two sons, Bryan (Tina) Weekly and Keith Weekly both of Lake Arthur; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death are her parents, Oscar “Buddy” and Melba Myers Kebodeaux; a sister, Barbara “Bobbie” Louviere; two brothers, Elmer Ray Kebodeaux and Alvin “Butch” Kebodeaux; granddaughter Tabitha Smith and grandson Jordan Gotte.
