LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Forrest Kibodeaux Sr., 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susil Fernando officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery with full Military Honors. Funeral home visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Saturday; and 8:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Kibodeaux died at 5:00 a.m., Thursday, December 25, 2014 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home. Mr. Kibodeaux was a lifelong resident of Lake Arthur and a retired welder from Mike Hooks Inc. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He loved to garden, mow grass and to be outdoors. Survivors include three daughters, Joan Kibodeaux of Lake Arthur, Dorothy Leger and husband Arthur of Lake Arthur, Theresa Minden and husband John of Jennings; one son, Forrest Kibodeaux, Jr. and wife Helen of Lake Arthur; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clopha and Mary Abbott Kibodeaux; his wife, Eva Doucet Kibodeaux; seven sisters, Cora Hanks, Zula Hanks, Hazel David, Eula Mae Guidry, Wilda Portie, Wina Mae Ardoin and Adless Dupuis; four brothers, Roy, Wilfred, Wilmer and Russell Kibodeaux; grandsons, Ryan Leger and Jayce Dupuis; and granddaughter, Madison Gotte.
