Florence Lejeune Johnson

LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mrs. Florence LeJeune Johnson, 86, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2014 in the Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Andrus Cove Cemetery. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday; and 10:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Jennings and worked as a cafeteria worker in the schools. Survivors include one sister, Estelle Davidson of Jennings; one personally adopted daughter Tommie Cloutier and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Estelle Martin LeJeune, Sr.; her husband, Hermon Johnson; four sisters, Frances LeJeune, Olive Kershaw, Eva Kershaw, Marie Guidry Broussard; and three brothers, Eloie Daniel LeJeune, Alexander LeJeune, Jr.(Sue) and Pierre LeJeune. Pallbearers will be Luke, Kirk, Jessie, Joshua, Caleb and Eloie Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Guidry, Charlie Guidry and Jackie Kershaw.
