Fern Azel Demary

JENNINGS Fern Azel Landry DeMary was born April 24th, 1923 and left this earth for her eternal home with our Lord today, Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in the Jeff Davis Living Center. She is survived by one daughter, Elsie DeMary Gann of Shriever; five sons, Jerrell DeMary and wife Liz of Pontotoc, Mississippi, C.J. DeMary of Crowley, James DeMary and wife Bertrella of Hathaway, Donald DeMary and wife Gail of Hathaway and Stanford DeMary of Jennings. Ms. Fern is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford DeMary; one daughter, Grace Marie DeMary, her parents Polecar Landry and Ophelia Clement Landry; one brother Russell Landry, and one sister Rose Miller. She was a true angel on this earth and we will all miss her dearly, but, now we know she will be our guardian angel looking over and out for us from heaven. Thank you momma for being such a loving and devoted mother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010 in the Miguez Funeral Home chapel with Deacon Mike Tramel officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. today, Wednesday; and 8:00 a.m., Thursday until time of services. A rosary led by Deacon Tramel will be recited at 7:00 p.m., today, Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Doucet Cemetery.
