Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Marie Fontenot LeJeune, 80 of Jennings will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susil Fernando officiating.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation for Mrs. LeJeune will begin Tuesday afternoon, February 2, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. LeJeune worked as a bank teller for many years.  She was a lifelong resident of Jennings.  She was faithful to her church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters #2012.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Vicki (Jim) Qualls of Carlyss; two sons, Bill (Paula) LeJeune and Kevin LeJeune, all of Jennings; eleven grandchildren Kelli Camel, Kristen LeJeune, Courtney (Glenn) Laughlin, Jordan LeJeune, Morgan (Brock) Babineaux; Katie LeJeune; Sam LeJeune; Grace LeJeune; Monte LeJeune; Tristin LeJeune; Peyton LeJeune; ten great grandchildren and one sister, Sandra “Pi” (George) Guinn of Shreveport.

Mrs. LeJeune was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Ida Marie Dupont Fontenot; her husband Bryan LeJeune and a son, Bryan “Tom” LeJeune.
