JENNINGS Funeral services for Mr. Eve Joseph Fuselier, 85, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2012 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings. Funeral home visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday; and 8:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Fuselier died at 7:10 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Fuselier was a native of Iota and a resident of Jennings 35 years moving here from Lake Charles. He graduated from the Iota High School class of 1943. Mr. Fuselier served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Japan. He was a retired shift foreman for the petrochemical industry and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Doucet Fuselier of Jennings; two daughters, Jackie Shaughnessy and husband Michael of Lake Charles, Debbie Fuslier and husband Gary of Sulphur; one son, David Fuselier and wife Cindy of Hathaway; six grandchildren, Timothy Shaughnessy and wife Yvette of Bell City, Joseph Shaughnessy of Houston, TX, Shawn Fuslier and wife Tara of Lake Charles, Ashley Fuslier and companion Travis of Sulphur, Christopher Fuselier of Lake Charles and Daniel Fuselier and wife Casey of Lake Charles; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his six grandchildren.
