Euman Cormier, Sr.

JENNINGS Graveside services with military honors for Mr. Euman Tee Cormier, 87, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 in the Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Cormier died at 10:44 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. Mr. Cormier was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a retired painter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include four sons, Euman Cormier, Jr., Kenneth Cormier, Lonnie Cormier and Thad Cormier and wife Cindy all of Jennings; one sister, Hazel Demarest of Welsh; two half-sisters, Lovenia Davis of Jennings, Agnes Smith of Mermentau, and four grandchildren, Adriene Fontenot, Ashley Cormier, Lauren Cormier and Ian Cormier. Mr. Cormier was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Lovenia Fontenot Cormier and his wife Lorice Alice Leckelt Cormier.
