LAKE ARTHUR Funeral services for Mr. Eullie Adam Nick Monceaux, 75, were held at 10:00 a.m., today, Thursday in Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Rev. Clyde Thomas officiating. Burial was in Andrus Cove Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Lake Arthur. Funeral home visitation was from 2:30 p.m. Wednesday until time of services. Mr. Monceaux died at 8:00 PM Tues., Nov. 17, 2008 at his residence. A rosary led by the Catholic Daughters was recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Monceaux was a lifelong resident of the Lake Arthur area. He served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Monceaux was a retired commercial fisherman and worked for the Cameron Parish Sheriff Department Water Patrol for 20 plus years. He is survived by five daughters, Carolyn Cormier and husband Wilsie of Welsh, Charlene Corbello of Lake Arthur, Pamie Thibodeaux and husband Ron of Lowry, Susie Henry of Lake Charles, Margaret Lachney and husband Mike of Kinder; one step-daughter, Patsy Mapel of Lake Arthur; three sons, Terry Monceaux and wife Claudia, Mickey Monceaux and wife Tina, Boo Monceaux and wife Dana all of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Norma Jean Broussard of Lake Arthur and Russie Morine of Lake Charles; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Etulia Gary Monceaux; his wife, Eula Lee Monceaux; two sons in law, Lee Corbello and Keith Henry; two grandsons, Cody and Nickie Cormier; one sister, Marie Spell; and two brothers, Melton and Dallas Monceaux. Pallbearers were Timmy Cormier, Bret Monceaux, Shannon Corbello, Nicholas Monceaux, Cory Trahan, Michael Lachney, Tony Monceaux and Adam Monceaux; honor pallbearers were Keagan Monceaux, Chase Corbello and Dylan Henry.
