Funeral services for Mr. Ethan Luke Leckelt, 29, of Evangeline will be on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Paul LaFleur officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Leckelt was a high school graduate and worked in the oilfield as a floorhand. He loved hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, arm wrestling, camping, cooking, baking and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Charlene LaFleur Leckelt of Evangeline; his father, Merle Leckelt of Evangeline; his sister, Shelley Leckelt of Evangeline; his maternal grandparents, Huey and Helen LaFleur, Sr. and his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Nellie Leckelt.

Carrying Ethan to his final resting place will be Matt (Chop) Bertrand; Anthony (Ben)Bertrand; Seth LaCombe; Blake Broussard; Gus Atkinson; Kodak Ortego and alternate pallbearers, Landon Hebert and Jeremy Smith.
