JENNINGS Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Monceaux LeBlanc, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 in the Miguez Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Funeral home visitation was from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday with a 6:30 rosary led by Betty LeGros and Marie Watson; and 8:00 a.m., today, Tuesday until time of services. Mrs. LeBlanc died at 11:15 a.m., Sunday, May 10, 2009 in the Jennings American Legion Hospital. She was a native of Crowley, and a 65 year resident of Jennings moving here from Lake Arthur. Mrs. LeBlanc was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Arline Richard and husband Lloyd of Jennings; three sons, Irvin LeBlanc and wife Bertha of Anahuac, TX, Edward LeBlanc and wife Dora of Iowa, Donald LeBlanc and wife Bobbie of Iowa; three sisters, Hilda Crochet of Lake Arthur, Beatrice Maynard of Gueydan, Clara Dugas of Lake Arthur; two brothers, Fred Monceaux, Jr. of Gueydan, Clyde Monceaux of Pitkin and ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Evillene LeBouef Monceaux, Sr., husband, Caesar LeBlanc, and two brothers, Chester Monceaux and Irvin Monceaux.
