Erika Jean Anderson

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Erika Jean Cooley Anderson, loving wife, and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 43.

Erika was born in DeRidder, Louisiana on March 22, 1977 to Robert Cooley and Patricia Cooley Whitaker. She was the Manager for a Construction Detail Cleaning company in the Lake Charles area. Erika had a passion for life, and never met a stranger. She was one of the most selfless people that you could meet.  Erika will be remembered for her personality that was always energetic and bubbly; but most of all, a smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Erika was preceded in death by her son, Braeden Anderson.

Left to cherish her memory her husband of 24 years, Brad Lee Anderson; two daughters, Carli Anderson, and Carrington Anderson; her mother and stepfather, Patricia Cooley Whitaker and Ross Whitaker; father, Robert Cooley; sisters, Annette Neides and Debbie K. Cooley; brother, Mark Litten; stepsiblings, Ross A. Whitaker and Crystal Jackson; and her mother and father-in-law, Julia and Ken R. Anderson.
