Emma L Lejeune

Mrs. Emma L. Lejeune (66) passed away at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, December 1,2019 in her residence in Hathaway.

A private service and burial will be held under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

She was manager of the Jeff Davis Parish Library, Lake Arthur branch for many years. She was a graduate of the Lake Arthur High School, class of 1971 and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Dan Lejeune; one daughter, Misty (Jesse) Thibodeaux of Hathaway; one son, Jarod (Claudia) Lejeune of Westbury, N.Y.; three sisters, Mae Hanvy of Mountainview, AR, Faye Armentor of Westlake, Jean LeBlanc of Lyons Point; one brother, E.J. Nunez of San Angelo, TX; seven grandchildren, Dani, Averi and Emalee Thibodeaux and Astrid, Jet, Emmarie and Saylor LeJeune.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Velma Duhon Henry.

In lieu of flowers, books in Mrs. Lejeune’s memory may be donated to the Jeff Davis Parish Library, Lake Arthur branch.
