Emma Evelyn Brewer Herndon

Emma Evelyn Brewer Herndon, 94, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, in Crockett, Texas.  She was born in Minden, Louisiana, to Louis Alvin and Bertha Roberts Brewer. Evelyn was a true and faithful Christian.  She loved God, her family and many friends whole heartedly.  She never met a stranger and always found the good in everyone.  

Preceding Evelyn in death are her parents, Louis Alvin and Bertha Brewer; beloved husband, Caswell C. Herndon; son, Lindal C. Herndon, and a twin sister at birth.  She is survived by two daughters: Sharilyn Anaker of Sulphur, Louisiana and Janis Adams of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and daughter-in-law, Barbara Herndon, of Sulphur, Louisiana; 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Grandmother, as she was known to most of us was truly the most loving person.  Her many loved ones and friends will never know the countless prayers she prayed for us all!  We were beyond blessed to call her Mom, Grandmother and friend.  

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Mimosa Pines South Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
